Redefining maths in Africa

To redefine Mathematics in Africa by making mathematics easy and fun for learners

Core Values

Our core values form the acronym PACE

Meet The LifeMatics Centre

The Lifematics centre is a mathematics company focused on making mathematics fun and easy to students while improving creativity, critical-thinking and problem solving skills.

We believe that for anyone to be great, you must either be an inventor or an innovator; our teaching techniques develop these in students.

Private Tutoring

The Lifematics Centre tutors partner with students to attain success in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Quantitative Reasoning. We have worked with students using Nigerian, British and North American curriculum with great success to show. We have engaged students on the following curriculum with great success - Nigerian, British and North American. Our private tutorial services range from students in Basic 3 to University level. Including external examinations such as Common Entrance, Junior WAEC, WASSCE, NECO, JAMB, SAT, IGCSE and GMAT.

Numeracy Circle

Numeracy circle is a mathematics club for 6-13years. Our club is organized in a way that boosts interest in mathematics. This session has been designed to enhance their numeracy skills, through our well selected games, activities, teaching mode and interactive notes to sharpen creativity, team work and problem-solving.

Teachers Training

Our teachers’ trainings and workshops equip teachers with proven and practical ways to transform their mathematics class to a time student will look forward to. It is majorly for primary and secondary school teachers. This holds on stipulated dates or when invited to schools.

Field Trip

Children love to explore and they learn while doing this. Locations for our field trips are cautiously picked to blend learning and fun without placing less emphasis on security and safety.

Holiday is a time to relax from school work and at the same time engage in activities that are not often done in school. Our Easter and summer day camp which holds during second term and long holiday respectively are tailored to expose participants to creative ways of doing mathematics. We don’t just teach the concepts; we allow participants explore using their initiative and this develops their creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills

Home Schooling

Due to negative peer influence, health challenges, close monitoring and many other reasons, some parents prefer their children to be schooled from home. We help to take the children through the school curriculum and beyond the classroom knowledge in the convenience of their homes.

Maths For All

Maths for All is our corporate social responsibility arm; we reach out to children in indigent communities and share maths tips with them. We have been to several communities in Lagos, Ogun and Oyo State.

Toyin Binang

The Lagoon School, Lagos
The Lifematics turned my teaching career around. I practised those things I learnt during their training with my students and colleagues. Numeracy is now the best subject of 14 out of my 18 students because of how I teach it. Two of my students want to be Numeracy teachers like me. Thank you Lifematics for making me a better Numeracy teacher

Mrs Olamide Alalade

Champion Learning Field, Minna, Niger State
The Lifematics Centre training has helped the pupils to be creative and increased their love for maths. We recite maths poem on the assembly now. Our staff write lesson notes in a unique way considering that everyone has different learning styles. If maths was taught this way, more people would have studied maths related courses.

Angela George

Sheerwood International School, Port Harcourt
Implementing the things l learnt during the maths teachers workshop has been very exciting. The pupils that weren't very interested in mathematics are beginning to pick interest. My director is very pleased with the performance of some pupils in my class now compared to where they were before. God bless all The LIFEMATICS crew

Francis Fache

Benford International School, Abuja
The knowledge display and trainee carriage capacity of the facilitator was above expectations
